FORMER SPECIAL CONSTABLE CHARGED WITH RAPE

A former special constable (volunteer Police Officer) has appeared in court after he was charged with the rape of a girl. 

Thomas Stokes, 25, of Walsall, was charged with rape a girl aged 13/14/15 following an investigation and appeared at Cannock Magistrates' Court today (Friday 2 January).  

He is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Monday 2nd February.
